ZARZAR MODELS recently released the latest list of the highest paid women in the entertainment industry (including famous actresses, supermodels, & singers). The latest list of the highest paid women in the entertainment industry (the top earning female celebrities in the world) covers all female celebrity earnings for the past 12 months (from June 2018 to June 2019) and are approximate based on the leading industry sources including Forbes magazine (one of the most prestigious financial magazines in the world and a leader in financial data analysis). All amounts are in United States Dollars.
The Highest Paid Women In The Entertainment Industry (Famous Actresses, Supermodels, & Singers) – The World’s Highest Paid Female Celebrities For 2019
The top 16 female celebrities on this year’s highest paid women in the entertainment industry list earned a combined $1.17 billion dollars (before deducting fees for taxes, managers, lawyers, and agents) over the past 12 months proving that a stellar business acumen can make you very wealthy. Female celebrity earnings are estimates only and are sourced from data provided by Nielsen Music, Pollstar, IMDB, NPD BookScan, and ComScore, in addition to interviews with numerous industry experts including agency managers and agents, company executives, and many of the female stars themselves. The result is the definitive index of who’s making the most money in the global business of fame.
Above: The Highest Paid Woman In The Entertainment Industry | The 2019 Money Girl Taylor Swift.
1. Taylor Swift (United States) with earnings for the year of $185 million dollars.
For the second time ever, famous country & pop singer Taylor Swift has sung and danced her way to the top of the annual global Forbes Celebrity 100 list of the world’s highest earning female entertainers, making $185 million in the last 12 months. For those that simply love math, that comes out to more than $506,849.31 per day, even when Taylor Swift takes the day off.
Though the top of this year’s Celebrity 100 list is packed with female superstars, only 16 women made the list in total. The imbalance indicates the gender pay gap existing throughout the entertainment industry – whether it be on the field (no female athletes made the cut this year) or on the big screen. It is also important to note that this year more than half of the highest paid female celebrities are musicians (it proved more difficult for actresses and supermodels to earn enough money to make the list of the highest paid women in the entertainment industry).
In recent weeks, much has been said of the fact that Taylor Swift doesn’t own her old master recordings. However, as part of her new music contract with Republic Records, Taylor Swift will have a chance to gain control of her future music efforts. Moves like these should help more women gain additional spots on the list of the 100 highest paid celebrities (men and women) in the entertainment industry in the coming years.
Another good sign: the 16 women on the list of the 100 highest paid celebrities (men and women) in the entertainment industry earned $1.17 billion dollars. Though that is much less than the $5.09 billion dollars earned by the 84 men on the list of the 100 highest paid celebrities (men and women) in the entertainment industry, it is quite a bit more per person – an average of $73 million dollars in earnings for the year for each woman compared to $60.5 million dollars in earnings for the year for each man.
2. Kylie Jenner (United States) with earnings for the year of $170 million dollars.
Kylie Jenner and her half-sister Kim Kardashian West (No. 6, $72 million) both own their cosmetics companies outright, earning them nine figures and eight figure checks, respectively, and making them true money girls (meaning that they both make an extraordinary amount of money, even when they sleep).

5. Ellen DeGeneres: $80.5 million
Many female celebrities and entertainers have discovered the secret to making serious money (code for tens of millions of dollars), and that secret is to own a piece of the business where they work (this basically means owning their own entertainment brands). Ellen DeGeneres, for example, owns more than half of her famous talk show. That means Ellen DeGeneres gets a percentage of the profit her show makes from advertising, product placement, and syndication.

Still, Scarlett Johansson is the film’s (Avengers: Endgame) only woman to make the list of the highest paid women (female celebrities) in the entertainment industry, compared to five male actors from the same film that made the list of the highest paid celebrities (men and women) in the entertainment industry.
These big budget films (Avengers: Endgame’s movie production budget was approximately $356 million) pay actors more upfront and traditionally do better at the box office (meaning a larger overall profit which benefits those actors and actresses who earn a percentage of those movie profits). Unfortunately, these big budget movies are more often led by male actors instead of actresses.
