Caroline Trentini

Today we feature supermodel Caroline Trentini, born in 1987 and also known as Carol Trentini, a Brazilian fashion model.

Trentini was born in Panambi Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. At about age 13, Caroline Trentini was discovered walking down a street in her hometown by an agent, the same one who scouted Gisele Bündchen, and soon afterward she moved to São Paulo, a common destination for young Brazilian models. She was frightened to be alone in the big city, as Panambi had only 40,000 residents. However, her modeling career immediately took off, and after a year, Trentini moved again, this time to New York City. She couldn’t speak English but quickly learned. However, Caroline Trentini’s breakthrough came when designer Marc Jacobs cast her in his Marc by Marc Jacobs advertising campaign, photographed by Juergen Teller.

Since then, Caroline Trentini has appeared on the covers of magazines such as ELLE, Harper’s Bazaar and Vogue, among other fashion magazine publications.

In 2007, she was the face of Gucci Cruise, Oscar de la Renta, Dolce & Gabbana, and Mulberry. She has also been the face of DKNY (Donna Karan New York) and Carlos Miele.

Caroline Trentini was also featured on the cover of American Vogue with fellow models: Doutzen Kroes, Jessica Stam, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Hilary Rhoda, Chanel Iman, and Lily Donaldson as the new crop of supermodels.

Caroline Trentini made her Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show debut in 2005 and also walked the show in 2006 and 2009.

Candice Swanepoel is a South African model best known for her work with Victoria’s Secret. Candice Swanepoel was born in Mooi River, KwaZulu-Natal, and was discovered by a model scout in a Durban flea market at age 15. By age 16, Candice Swanepoel was earning approximately 5,000 Euros for a day’s work.

Candice’s resume includes covers for Greece Vogue, Elle Germany, and advertisements for Nike and Guess. Candice Swanepoel has also walked the runway for Tommy Hilfiger, Dolce & Gabbana, Betsey Johnson, Diane von Furstenberg and numerous other fashion designers.

In February 2010, it was announced that singer Madonna would design a collection of sunglasses set to be released in May of that year. They also have a set of fragrances for men and women.

D&G

D&G is a slightly more casual line that follows an urban inspiration and attempts to set trends rather than follow them. It is the younger, more flamboyant line of the brand. Like Dolce&Gabbana, D&G sells watches as well as clothing, and have been voted the United Kingdom’s best luxury brand. In 2005 and 2006, a limited line of 1000 golden D&G Motorola RAZR mobile phones was distributed by D&G boutiques and major Motorola retailers. In July 2009 D&G signed a lucrative deal with singer Alexandra Burke which will see her model their fashion lines in her music videos and in promotions.

The World’s Top Earning Models – No. 5 Alessandra Ambrosio $6 Million Per Year

Viva Alessandra Ambrosio! She is one of the few models left who knows how to use her Victoria’s Secret contract to platform herself as a multi-media star with magazine covers aplenty and gigs for Armani as well as her TV appearances to keep her market value crackling. This beautiful Brazilian girl knows how to manufacture serious cash from her superpower modeling contracts and modeling campaigns.

Another Brazilian model on the list, Alessandra Ambrosio first made her name as the spokesmodel for the Victoria’s Secret PINK line and is now one of the brand’s angels. Recently, Alessandra Ambrosio gave birth to her first child. Only three months later, she appeared on the catwalk for the Victoria’s Secret runway show. She is also on contract with European retail outlet C&A and Mexican department store Liverpool.

She is very conscious of her figure and works out with her Brazilian trainer doing the Brazilian Butt Lift, which is a mix of samba, capoeira, and aerobics.



When Alessandra Ambrosio first came to New York, Gisele Bundchen lent her apartment for two weeks and Adriana Lima helped her translate English.

She described her typical week as jetsetting from one country to another for photo shoots and in between she has some phone interviews. She still visits her family in Brazil regularly and calls Erechim, Brazil her favorite place in the world and having traveled the world has not yet convinced her otherwise.

Ambrosio’s best friend is fellow Brazilian model Ana Beatriz Barros.

On August 24, 2008, Alessandra Ambrosio and her fiancé, California businessman Jamie Mazur, had their first child, a daughter in Florianopolis, Brazil.

Alessandra is tied for 5th place with Victoria’s Secret Angel and supermodel Doutzen Kroes.
