Who Is Hailee Steinfeld?
Beautiful actress, singer, and fashion model Hailee Steinfeld was born and raised in Los Angeles, southern California, where she began her acting career at age eight. Hailee Steinfeld earned a Best Supporting Actress Academy Award nomination for her acting role as tough teen Mattie Ross in 2010’s True Grit when she was just 14 years old. A string of movie roles, including the 2013 hits Begin Again and Enders Game, precluded her from joining the Pitch Perfect musical franchise in 2015. After singing a cappella in Pitch Perfect 2, singer Hailee Steinfeld landed a record deal, released an EP titled Haiz (an extended play record, often referred to as an EP, is a musical recording that contains more tracks than a single, but is usually unqualified as an album or LP), and saw two of her music singles (2015’s “Love Myself” and 2016’s “Starving”) go platinum. Actress Hailee Steinfeld, who earned a Golden Globe nomination for her role as teen Nadine Byrd in 2016’s The Edge of Seventeen, went on to star in the 2018 Transformers movie Bumblebee.

Famous actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld was born in Los Angeles, southern California, to parents Cheri (an interior designer) and fitness trainer Pete Steinfeld on December 11, 1996. Actress Hailee Steinfeld began acting when she was eight years old, and has said that she caught the acting bug from watching her cousin (Emmy winner True O’Brien) star in television commercials.
