Actually, the $100,000 dollar bill is very real. The largest bill ever printed by the federal government, the $100,000 note bears the likeness of President Woodrow Wilson. By now top fashion models that read this are probably jumping up and down full of excitement and waiting to get their hands on these high powered $100,000 dollar bills, but don’t jump too much just yet, because even if you have $100,000 to burn or are expecting to be paid $100,000 from a top fashion client for being a part of their latest fashion campaign, you should not expect to get your hands on one of these $100,000 dollar bills anytime soon. Backed by gold bullion, these $100,000 dollar bills were issued only to Federal Reserve banks for making large transactions with one another and can’t be legally held by collectors (or fashion models). So unless you have your own bank, you are probably out of luck.

Actually, the $10,000 dollar bills are very real, and very legal. The $10,000 dollar bill is the largest dollar bill ever circulated among the general public in the United States (the term used to describe these bills by industry experts is “notes” but this website is about fashion models not finance). However, it is the belief of industry experts that only 346 of these $10,000 dollar bills remain in circulation today. Full of excitement the fashion model accepted the $10,000 dollar bills but upon counting them she realized that there were only 9 bills for a total of $90,000. The client was short one bill, so the client offered to pay the remaining $10,000 owed to the beautiful fashion model with a combination of $5,000 dollar bills, $1,000 dollar bills, and $500 dollar bills.
